In 1994 Bill Barry had already spent 20 years in the electrical contracting industry and was confident that business could be done better. His vision was to create a company with a revolutionary culture that would stand out from its competitors. By setting higher standards and making craftsmanship, pride, and integrity absolutely non-negotiable, Southern Power & Controls began a journey to success and customer satisfaction that is unlike any other.

Some of the organizations we support include the Gold Shield Foundation, dedicated to the survivors of our community’s fallen law enforcement officers, and the Chrysalis House, a treatment program and safe haven for women in the Tampa Bay area.
